What is the HOSEMAN?

Features of the HOSEMAN

The "HOSEMAN Series" is our company's proprietary rescue training manikin that combines "durability," "realism," "functionality," and "ecology" to a high level,  fulfilling all requirements for rescue training manikins.

High Durability

The exterior of the HOSEMAN is covered entirely with recycled fire hoses. Leveraging the high durability and flexibility of these fire hoses, the HOSEMAN is designed to withstand rigorous training, ensuring long-lasting utility in demanding scenarios.

The foundational structure of the HOSEMAN is created by interweaving recycled fire hoses in a lattice pattern, forming interconnected loops. The components of each loop intersect, creating a protective network for the sewn parts. This design ensures layered safeguards, preventing any damage to the stitching when the HOSEMAN is dragged or pulled.

Repairs are Easy

In the unlikely event of damage, the HOSEMAN offers the option to purchase replacement parts for individual components, allowing for on-site repairs. This feature enhances repairability, with particularly vulnerable parts like legs being easily replaced by following a fer simple steps.

Realistically Replicating the Human Form

Replicating the Range of Motion of Human Joints

The HOSEMAN's unique knitting structure allows the elbow and knee joints to bend in only one direction, just like the real human body.

The Sensation of Holding a Real Human

The HOSEMAN, which closely resembles an unconscious victim, replicates natural movements and postures with high accuracy, contributing to highly realistic and effective training scenarios.

Furthermore, from head to toe, the HOSEMAN faithfully reproduces the length, thickness, and weight balance of the human body, enabling realistic training that feels as if you're handling a real human body.

Multi-functional

Have a Conversation with the HOSEMAN

Inside the head, a pocket (available in certain models of the HOSEMAN Real Type) is provided where you can insert a small transceiver, smartphone, or compact Bluetooth speaker. By utilizing these communication devices to transmit voice remotely, it is possible to replicate scenarios where the HOSEMAN-acting as a victim-can vocalize and engage in conversation. This feature enables natural execution of training exercises, such as search and rescue simulations, where rescuers rely on the voice of the victim to find the location, and in obtaining critical information from the victim during training.

Displaying Injury Conditions on the HOSEMAN

Leveraging the HOSEMAN's unique lattice structure, whiteboard material 'display sheets' can be inserted and attached to various parts of the body. Because these sheets are made of whiteboard material, you can use whiteboard markers to clearly indicate injury conditions and vital signs with custom text or illustrations. This allows rescuers to easily assess the condition of the victim, enabling them to choose appropriate transportation and rescue methods appropriate to the extent of the injuries.
Even penetrating injuries that were challenging to replicate with traditional rescue training manikins or live victims can be realistically simulated and trained in a natural way with the HOSEMAN.

In addition to 'display sheets,' you can attach manually changeable 'flip sheets' to the HOSEMAN, such that rescuers can assess injury conditions and observe the victim (the HOSEMAN) in a natural flow of 'observe the victim → flip the sheet → understand the symptoms.' This allows training to be conducted in a manner closely replicates the conditions of field operations.

Eco-Friendly

The HOSEMAN is an eco-friendly product, as it is made entirely of discarded firefighting hoses and plastic bottles.

The HOSEMAN is structurally designed to allow for easy disassembly and reassembly. All the disassembled parts can be easily replaced with new ones, so in case of damage or degradation due to repeated use in training, you can replace only the affected parts and continue to use it. In addition to enduring rigorous training over and over again, the HOSEMAN also heroically protects the Earth's environment.
